What is Paint Correction?

Paint correction is the process of removing minor scratches and imperfections in the vehicle’s clear coat. Using an electric polisher, a microfiber buffing pad, and a special cutting compound, we cut into the clear coat of a vehicle’s paint until the scratches are leveled or removed.

Why do you need paint correction?

Paint correction removes swirls and light defects, enhancing the clarity of the clear coat and bringing the vehicle’s color back to life. Depending on the level of the correction you choose, you can expect anywhere from 25-90% of the defects corrected!

Is paint correction only for older cars?

No, even brand-new cars can benefit from a correction. Most cars are shipped by truck or train and are delivered with scratches and imperfections!

Stage 1 Paint Correction

A simple one-step polishing job using a cutting compound (liquid polish) and a pad. This single-stage paint correction removes 75% or more of small marring, scratches, and swirl marks.

Stage 2 Paint Correction

For moderate or medium swirl marks and scratches that are embedded in the clear coat, Stage 2 is the next progression. We use two different polishes and pad combinations, beginning with a more abrasive polish, then stepping down to a finer compound to remove any light scratches left by the first step. Our two-step process removes up to 90% of scratches.

What is Ceramic Coating?

A Ceramic Coating is a thin film polymer coating that acts as a second skin to the paint’s clear coat to protect It from UV rays, bird droppings, and scratches. Using a ceramic coating protects your vehicle’s paint, increasing it lifespan, reducing maintenance costs, and achieving a much longer shine than waxing alone.

With the hard surface that ceramic coating provides, dirt and debris rolls off the surface and away from the grooves and crevasses of your vehicle’s body. Your car stays cleaner longer and when it does need a wash, the dirt and grime is easier to remove.
